The Talloires Network invites university students and recent graduates to submit entries for the 2014 Talloires Network Leaders Conference Video Competition. Submissions should highlight a local university program dedicated to student community engagement. Following the conference theme of “Live Engagement, Transform Lives”, we seek inspired work about university students making an impact in their communities. Monetary prizes will be given to the best submissions, which will be featured at the 2014 Talloires Network Leaders Conference, taking place in Cape Town, South Africa on December 2014.

People around the world are working to dismantle the ivory tower, and build universities that are truly engaged with the community around them. Thousands of university students around the world enhance their classroom education with real-world experiences in their communities. As a result, university administrators have increasingly recognized the importance of such experiences. The Talloires Network, founded in 2005, brings together more than 300 universities around the world that have committed to genuine collaboration and engagement with the communities in which they are located.
