Institute of Business Technology (Pakistan)

The Institute of Business and Technology (Biztek/IBT) is a non-profit, publicly and privately funded, independently chartered institute of higher education that was established in Karachi, Pakistan in 2001.  IBT has been involved in many different community based activities.  Some examples are below:

  • Syed Kashif Rafi, Assistant Professor is the Secretary (2011-12) and President Elect (2012-13) of the Rotary Club of Karachi, Darakshan
  • The CSF encourages students to participate in community service events.

  • Establishment of Rotarct Club under the supervision of Rotary Club of Karachi, Darakshan
  • Regular holding blood donation camps
  • Awareness program on important social issues
  • Guest speaker sessions on vitally important issues of societal well being
  • Seminars on social works such as saving energy, poverty alleviation

  • Need-based scholarships up to 100% fee relief. Every year almost more than 70% students benefit from this scheme.
  • Continuing Education Program – Institute offers at low cost further studies to its Faculty and staff.
