Educating the Community
UMCE provides an opportunity for aspiring educators to not only learn about the practice of teaching, but also how to apply their skills to serve the greater community. UMCE acknowledges its responsibility to the Chilean community by preparing its students to address community needs through education. The university offers a variety of trainings for future teachers to engage diverse populations of the community. Through its programs, UMCE enables its students to recognize how their position as educators in society can bring about positive change.
