Nathanael Irivuzumuremyi

Nathanael is a Mastercard Foundation Scholar and medical student pursuing a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Rwanda—one of the nation’s most competitive programs. Raised in a humble background and living with a hearing impairment, he is a living proof that disability is not inability. Nathanael advocates for inclusive healthcare and champion the power of digital hearing technologies to improve ear and hearing health awareness in communities. Recognized by UPHLS for his commitment to health promotion and disability inclusion, Nathanael hav also inspired youth through keynote speeches on UNICEF platforms. As the digital literacy coordinator in his district, he empowers persons with disabilities and other vulnerable groups with essential digital skills to help bridge the digital divide and build a more inclusive society. Nathanael leads with faith, purpose, and resilience. Uplifting others to realize their potential isn’t just his mission—it is his heartbeat. Simply put, Nathanael aspires to inspire.
