Samuel Oliaha Peter Amok
Samuel Oliaha Peter Amok is a student at the University of Rwanda, pursuing a Bachelor of Pharmacy. Coming from a displaced refugee background, he is enthusiastic about public health, education, and refugee empowerment, with particular focus on antimicrobial resistance (AMR), mental health, and community health awareness.
Samuel actively engages and volunteered in youth leadership and mentorship, supporting education initiatives and raising awareness about the importance of accessible education, especially for those from underserved communities and refugees. His experience spans community health advocacy, education outreach, and providing guidance to fellow youth through mentorship, with a focus on SDG3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG4 (Quality Education).
Through the For Youth, By Youth movement, Samuel hopes to connect with like-minded peers, contribute to meaningful discussions, and be part of initiatives that will empower him to make a positive impact in his community and beyond.
