Abdullahi Mohamed Abdi

Abdullahi Mohamed Abdi is a passionate, dedicated youth activist and a current MSc candidate in African and International Development at the University of Edinburgh. He holds a BA in Sociology, Gender, and Development from Kenyatta University. For over four years, Abdullahi has actively advocated for refugee rights in Dadaab refugee camp, Kenya, focusing on youth empowerment and social inclusion. He has led human rights workshops and campaigns against marginalization within the community. Currently, Abdullahi serves as the Community Liaison and Outreach Coordinator for the Somali Alliance for Justice and Equality Movement (Kenya branch), addressing issues facing minority groups in Somalia. He also sits on the Youth Advisory Committee for the DREEM project under WUSC and Mastercard Foundation, offering insights to support refugee empowerment. His work reflects a strong commitment to justice, equality, and human rights.
