Graduate Entrepreneur Support Services (GESS) at the Raymond Ackerman Academy of Entrepreneurial Development

The Raymond Ackerman Academy of Entrepreneurial Development (RAA) is a tertiary level academy hosted at the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business and at the Soweto Campus of the University of Johannesburg. The RAA offers an inspiring, innovative and practical program in entrepreneurial development to talented and driven young people on the margins of the university’s reach. These students may not have had the opportunity to access higher education due to social, academic or financial restraints.

The overall objective of the Academy is to up-skill the students and expose them to a learning experience that equips them with the necessary life and business skills to stimulate their entrepreneurial spirit and build their entrepreneurial mind-set.
