University College of Bahrain (UCB) is one of the oldest seats of higher learning in the Kingdom of Bahrain licensed by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education Council (HEC). The University is a not-for-profit institution of higher learning and caters to the educational needs of people from Bahrain as well as GCC region. The University provides a rigorous and internationally informed curriculum based on a semester credit hour system in the USA/Canadian liberal arts tradition. The University specializes in the subject areas of Business Administration, Information Technology, and Communications and Multimedia. The University educates students and generates new knowledge by uniting the rigor, relevance, creativity and intellectual dynamics of business and the liberal arts, dedicated to quality education benchmarked against international standards and attuned to the needs of the region it serves.

Inculcating Community Engagement and Civic Duty are also the symbols of UCB apart from its active engagement in Learning and Teaching and Research activities. The students through different societies and community engagement unit are actively involved in endeavors of social responsibility and helping communities.
