Presented by International Medical University's Professor Suan Phaik Khoo, Dean for Community Engagement and Professor James Koh, of the 2013 MacJannet Prize Winning program IMU Cares, the presentation will share lessons from a 9-year engagement with the Temuan tribe in the village that birthed IMU Cares, an autonomous entity within IMU overseeing more than 50 projects dedicated to promoting community engagement, community-based research and engaged scholarship.

Workshops are led by leaders in the field of university civic engagement and run each month from February 2022 through July 2022, highlighting innovative community-university research in communities in Malaysia, the United States, Lebanon, Bangladesh, Uganda, Ghana, and Austria.
