Centre for Rural Development
SNDT first initiated its rural development program in 1976. After conducting research on the needs of nine nearby villages, the program initiated education, health and income-generation activities in these villages. The program was converted to the full-fledged Centre for Rural Development in 1981. The CRD is committed to raising awareness among women about their rights, and it conducts programs on legal literacy, health awareness programs, and skill development for women. Learn more>>
