South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University (Ukraine)
The South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University was founded in 1817 and is one of the oldest educational institutions in Ukraine. The mission of the University is to prepare qualified specialists either for the education system of the Southern region of Ukraine or for other countries. Social Responsibility
The university annually implements a number of humanitarian programs aimed at rendering free help to the disabled population of the Odessa region, namely: ‘Students ‘Social Service’ project; students and teachers’ volunteer movement; and “From Heart to Heart,” a program to help sick children, orphans and war veterans. It also takes part in many socially significant events connected with youth AIDS, tuberculosis, alcohol and smoking prevention.
