The Sukkur Institute of Business Administration (Sukkur IBA) is a well reputed educational institution in Sukkur, Pakistan. The institute is a public sector degree-awarding institute approved by Higher Education Commission and chartered by the Government of Sindh, in the top rated “W” Category. Sukkur IBA has been ranked as the 4th best business school in Pakistan by HEC.
The mission of Sukkur IBA is “to contribute and serve community by imparting knowledge through innovative teaching and applied research at the global levels of excellence. We aim to establish and sustain a competitive meritorious environment by strengthening faculty and using state of the art technology to produce graduates with analytical, leadership skills and entrepreneurial spirit, who possess global outlook and are conscious of ethical values”.

We strive hard to ensure ethical thinking in our graduates, in order to enable them to work for the betterment of mankind.
Overview of Civic Engagement and Community Services
IBA Community Colleges:
Sukkur Institute of Business Administration keeping in view quality of education and poverty in rural areas of Sindh initiated the concept of community colleges to enhance quality of basic education and affordability of students belonging to very poor families. Sukkur IBA community colleges also provide access to university education with the collaboration of Education & Literacy Department Government of Sindh.
Talent Hunt Program:
Sukkur IBA launched THP program to educate meritorious students with a weak academic and financial background, the program consists of six months of foundation semester / Basic Education to build a strong base for their regular degree programs. The entire program is a community service project in which up to 500 students are educated free of cost including their tuition, room and board, transportation and a handsome stipend to support education in deprived areas.
Flood Relief Camp by Sukkur IBA students and Alumni:
During the catastrophic floods of 2010, Sukkur IBA students and alumni generously devoted their services in facilitating the people affected. In camps shelter, food, clean water, basic hygienic and sanitary facilities were provided. A medical camp with the help of different volunteer doctors was also run. A school and a mosque were also established.
These activities are still continuing for the rehabilitation of flood affectees and all help is provided by institute.
Al-Ilm association a student run organization has started a project named “Fikr-e-Taleem” in order to educate unprivileged children of community
Awareness campaign started from Sukkur IBA staff especially gardeners and sweepers

Sasti Basti School:
Sasti Basti School was opened in a community where education was not accessible; the community was built up of flood rehabilitated people and was in dire need of a school. Students of Sukkur IBA started and manage the school
More than 150 students are enrolled
Free education with books and dresses provided
Classes run 6 days a week
Students initiated social entrepreneurial activities receive funding, mentoring, networking and moral support from the institute.
