Talloires Network Renaming Initiative: Letter from Executive Director, Lorlene Hoyt
Dear Colleagues,
I would like to invite members, partners, and friends of the Talloires Network to participate in the TN Renaming Initiative.
Since 2005, the Talloires Network has grown in size and reach establishing strong and productive partnerships with members and partners around the world. Functioning as a membership organization and a “network of networks,” it enjoys a positive reputation as a leader in the global university civic engagement movement.
The Renaming Initiative was proposed by the secretariat in response to regular encouragement from stakeholders to adopt a name and emblem that more effectively communicates our shared mission and values.
To inform the direction and scope of the Renaming Initiative, we would like to invite you to share your experiences and recommendations by participating in a short online survey. This voluntary, online survey should take you about 10 minutes to complete. Your responses will remain confidential.
The survey results will be discussed at the next the Steering Committee meeting in March 2019 and distributed to you in our April 2019 newsletter. The Renaming Initiative will be launched in June 2019, and we will formally adopt our new name and emblem at TNLC2020.
