University of Rwanda, Nyagatare (Rwanda)

University of Rwanda, Nyagatare, founded in 2004, is a public institution of higher education located in Nyagatare, Rwanda.  There are six schools Agriculture, ICT, Commerce and Applied economics, Technology and applied sciences, Communication and Languages and the only Veterinary Medicine School in the country. Rwanda has a variety of activities that make up their Community Outreach and Programs (COP) including:

• Ambulatory clinics in the Umutara region
• Offering Veterinary services to Akagera game park
• Students entrepreneurship training and mentoring through SPARK  Rwanda
• Promoting milk production through innovative feeding strategies in Umutara region
• Participating in One Health activities through OHCEA
