Biography:
Judy obtained her BA in Psychology and Legal Theory & Institutions and her Honours in Applied linguistics from Wits, an MA in Adult Continuing Education from Warwick University (UK) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Policy, Leadership and Management in Higher Education from UWC. Judy has extensive experience in education policy work, and strategic and institutional planning. Her places of employment include directing Institutional planning and Transformation at Cape Technikon, Policy and Planning, Reconstruction Development Policy and Planning and Strategic Planning for the Gauteng Department of Education; Policy analyst for CEPD and participation in several education and training policy processes and projects for COSATU.  As the Director of Institutional Planning, Judy is responsible for the coordination of institutional planning and monitoring, the provision of institutional information and research, academic planning, and quality assurance – including processes related to the institutional audit, institutional research and social responsiveness.
