Development Cooperation Center
The “Centro de Cooperacion al Desarrollo” (CCD) was built as a meeting and reflection space for the university community interested in building a real compromise to face a social reality that’s more unequal each day. The CCD acts as a catalyst for solidarity among the university community, empowering its collaboration with the neediest members of our society, both to the north and the south. Visit the CCD site.
The Vice-Chancery for Social Responsibility and Cooperation designs, plans, and manages the university’s social policies. Among its actions, we find the social programs directed toward UPV staff and alumni, the Juana Portaceli Health Center, CEDAT Foundation (which supports the collective in terms of functional diversity), support for the Children’s School UVP (which enrolls 1-3-year-old kids), and finally the Universidad Senior (which provides educational programs for those older than 55).
