Green International University, Lahore (Pakistan)

Green International University, Lahore, Pakistan was founded in 2020 via Charter/ Act titled “The Green International University Act 2020” (Act VI of 2020) passed by the Assembly of Punjab Province, Pakistan on May 13, 2020. The Act of the University was published in Punjab Gazette (Extraordinary) Pages 4167-78 on June 4, 2020.  The Government of the Punjab, Pakistan issued notification of establishment vide No. SO (Univ.) 9-15/2019 dated June 25, 2020.

Green International University is committed to providing quality education, research and innovation in the present transformation of the global economy towards a knowledge economy. The university will adopt such strategies through which it may lead to excellence in academic and research pursuits as per its vision and mission. The University is committed to provide its students with opportunities to develop a global mindset by establishing international collaborations. Green International University look forward to proudly empower and groom the youth of Pakistan to launch upon an exciting professional career by inculcating a sense of achievement for meeting competitive global challenges and, contribute to the socio-economic development and prosperity of Pakistan.

The University is authorized to offer degree programs through ten (10) faculties including (1) Faculty of Science and Technology (2) Faculty of Law (3) Faculty of Fiqh-e-Islami and Shariah (4) Faculty of Social Sciences and Management Studies (5) Faculty of Languages and Humanities (6) Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences (7) faculty of Professional Health Technologies (8) Faculty of Medicine and Applied Health Sciences (9) Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology (10) Faculty of Arts, Design and Architecture.

From the very first day of its operations, Green International University, Lahore has inherited the roots of civic engagement, philanthropy, social responsibility, innovation and impact for society from its sponsoring body “Madinah Foundation, Faisalabad”.

CSR and Civic Engagement Activities 

Inculcating Social Responsibility and Civic Duty are also the symbols of Green International University, Lahore.  Our Students are actively involved in endeavors of social responsibility and helping communities. We recognize and firmly believe that our future generation (our students) are instrumental for creating positive impact in our society to make this world better. We not only impart knowledge through curricula but also believes in transforming the personality of our students from 360 degree perspective. We believe in quality in all that we do. The University is fully committed and determined to become partner of social and welfare communities and bodies for the movement of civic engagement, CSR, and quality assurance. Our University students through corporate, academic, and social responsibility linkages will be engaged in various movements of helping the social community in our circles. Our student societies, volunteering, and promoting quality assurance are the hallmarks of all our activities. The civic engagement and CSR activities include but not limited to health care, blood donations, food for needy people, clothing in extreme weather for underprivileged communities, character building events and seminars, women empowerment activities, entrepreneurial events to generate employment, cleanliness drives for greener and sustainable environment.
