Khyber Medical University (Pakistan)

Khyber Medical University  (KMU) is a public medical university in Peshawar, Pakistan that was founded in 2007.  KMU’s mission is “service to humanity with a commitment for excellence in medical education and research, providing medical students with state of the art knowledge, skills and attitude to deliver the highest standards of health care to the people.”  The university is composed of 5 constituent institutions: Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (IPM&R), Institute of Basic Medical Sciences (ISMS), Institute of Public Health and Social Sciences (IPH&SS), Post Graduate College of Nursing and KMU Institute of Medical Sciences, Kohat (KIMS).  IPH&SS specifically has conducted workshops on disease prevention and management and has engaged in disaster relief.  Khyber Medical University’s website>>
