Devotha Ikuzwe
Devotha Ikuzwe is a dedicated young leader committed to enhancing food security and reducing malnutrition through sustainable agriculture-led social entrepreneurship and research. She co-founded the Student Saving and Lending Group and the Mushroom Food Hub, both focused on community empowerment and economic resilience. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics at the University of Rwanda, she bridges academic research with practical agricultural solutions. Devotha has over four years of leadership experience as a class representative and actively contributes to the AgriResearch Club and Rotaract Club. Her internship at Union des cooperatives Agricoles Integrees strengthened her skills in cooperative management and rural development. She now serves as a research assistant on a national project promoting micronutrient-rich crops through the school feeding program. Devotha’s strengths lie in communication, leadership, critical thinking, and adaptability. Her work reflects a deep passion for sustainable development, climate adaptation, and empowering communities for lasting impact.
