Reem Wehbe
Reem always believed that health isn’t just about medicine- it’s about the stories we live, the air we breathe, the policies we write, and sometimes, the chaos we survive. She started out wanting to help people one-on-one. However, somewhere between dodging the war zones in mobile clinics and digging into climate health research, Reem realized she’s wired for bigger picture thinking. With a background in nursing and a stubborn curiosity about the world, she has tried to always seek research. She has researched gender based violence, climate change, and health issues. Reem is especially drawn to the messy beautiful overlap of science, storytelling, and social justice. She believes serious work doesn’t have to be joyless when making joy is our aim. She cares deeply, works hard, and laughs often. “That is me,” says Reem.
