Rinah Marion Namwase

Rinah Marion Namwase is a fourth-year Social Work student at Makerere University in Uganda. She is self-motivated and passionate about integrating disability inclusion into development programs. Rinah served as the Guild Minister for Students with Disabilities in the 89th Makerere University Student Government, uniting over 200 students on campus and helping establish a disability career mentorship supporting the after-campus transition of students with disabilities to job opportunities.

As a social worker by profession, Rinah strives to work zealously for positive change in the communities where vulnerable groups are not visible, helping them gain visibility.

Rinah volunteered as a Peer Educator with Reach A Hand Uganda, supporting over 250 individuals with disabilities to access accurate information on reproductive health and rights.
