University of South Asia, Lahore (Pakistan)

University of South Asia, Lahore, Pakistan was founded in 2005 via Charter/ Act titled “The University of South Asia Act 2005” (Act IX of 2005) passed by the Assembly of Punjab Province, Pakistan on June 18, 2005. The Act of the University was published in Punjab Gazette (Extraordinary) Pages 223-231 on July 9, 2005.  University of South Asia is a philosophy, a concept, and an ideology that revolves around the phenomenon of “Change for Better.” University believes that we should continuously upgrade ourselves to keep pace with ever changing demands of human development.

University also believes that problems in the society must be identified; solutions planned and innovative programs introduced to implement the solutions without any lapse. It is conviction of the University that even the ongoing academic programs must be kept under microscopic analysis and the curriculum be made a living entity with a built in phenomena of improvement and perfection. University of South Asia, Lahore, Pakistan is determined to bring advancement in every aspect of human learning. University is blessed to have beautiful and state-of-the-art infrastructure in Lahore (City of Pakistan). The principal seat is situated at Tufail Road, Lahore Cantt while Raiwind Road and Burki Road locations are also situated in Lahore and imparting quality education.

Along with providing higher education in market-competitive disciplines at par with any international University, the University of South Asia also endeavors to inculcate rich values and principles in its students. University offers a range of varied programs in Health Sciences, Engineering, Management Sciences, Art and Fashion Design, Law, Computer Sciences, Architecture, Social Sciences and Humanities linked with Higher Education Commission’s guidelines and policies and are adaptively responsive to the latest developments in industry standards, technologies and pedagogy to inspire young generation to learn, conduct research and ultimately be able to contribute to socio-economic development.
